Bullish, backed by Peter Thiel, plans to IPO this year and is in talks with Jefferies Group about a potential listing
<p>Odaily News Bullish Global, a cryptocurrency exchange operator whose backers include billionaire Peter Thiel, is considering an initial public offering as early as this year and is working with Jefferies Financial Group Inc. on a potential listing, according to people familiar with the matter.<br/> Deliberations are ongoing, details of the IPO could change and more banks could join the lineup, the people added.<br/> Bullish, which acquired CoinDesk from Digital Currency Group in 2023 for an undisclosed amount, is led by CEO Tom Farley and has more than 275 employees with offices in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Gibraltar and the Cayman Islands, according to its website.<br/> Bullish is a subsidiary of blockchain software company Block.one, whose backers include Thiel, Alan Howard, Louis Bacon and Richard Li, according to an earlier statement.
