DCG founder: When BTC was discovered, the price was only $7-8, and investing in BTC is more profitable than investing in crypto startups

Odaily News Barry Silbert, founder and CEO of Grayscale's parent company Digital Currency Group (DCG), said on the podcast "Journey Man" that his highest-yielding investment was holding Bitcoin, not investing in crypto startups. When he discovered Bitcoin in 2011, the price of each Bitcoin was about $7-8. As the price of Bitcoin began to climb, he shifted his investment focus to investing in emerging cryptocurrency companies like Coinbase and used Bitcoin to fund these transactions. But in hindsight, just holding Bitcoin is better than anything else. (FinanceFeeds)
