Tether and City of Lugano to Partner with Swiss University to Bring Bitcoin Education to the Public
Driving education and participation, the Plan ₿ Forum advocates for blockchain education to be a priority in ongoing development plans.
Tether and the city of Lugano, Switzerland announced the dates and support for the second Plan ₿ summer school program.
Plan ₿ Summer School was created to make blockchain education more accessible and shape a new generation of business owners, students, researchers, and more. It is organized jointly with the Franklin University of Switzerland (FUS), the Swiss University of Italy (USI) and the Southern University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Switzerland (SUPSI). Tether contributed its expertise to the initiative last year by focusing on developing a new generation of students. The last program brought together 86 students from 29 different countries including Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, etc., all with a passion for understanding the future of the blockchain ecosystem and exploring new environments.

"Plan ₿ Summer School will enable participants to work with leading industry minds , developing peer-to-peer prototypes and deepening their understanding of the technology that will help shape the next generation of founders, developers and creators."
This year's two-week summer school program will focus on Bitcoin and peer-to-peer technologies and how they will unlock financial freedom and promote free speech. Course topics will focus on Bitcoin, Lightning Network, stablecoins, peer-to-peer technology, mining, blockchain analysis, governance, self-custody, and more. Students will have the opportunity to choose one of two courses. The Satoshi course is designed for beginners with little or no coding experience but has a general interest in blockchain fundamentals, while the Pear course is for intermediate to advanced students who are passionate about coding and interested in learning how to build on peer-to-peer technology.
