last week,Observation and ViewpointThe first is the situation of Polkadot and Kusama network slot Auction. Polkadot’s 29th parachain slot auction will end at around 3 am on October 12; Quartz won Kusama’s 53rd parachain slot auction.
On October 3, the anonymous parachain 2223 won the Kusama 54th Parachain Slot Auction. Currently, the Kusama network is conducting the candlestick for the 55th Slot Auction, which is expected to end around October 10.
The KILT protocol created Web3 history, and KILT became the first parachain to migrate from Kusama to Polkadot

The Polkadot Council voted Motion 270 to launch a referendum on adding nomination pools to the Polkadot network! At present, Motion 270 has been turned into Polkadot’s 78th referendum for referendum! In the current proposal, the staking parameters are 1 DOT to join a pool, 200 DOT to create a pool, a maximum of 64 pools and a maximum of 32,000 members for all pools. These can all be changed through governance, and the number of pools and members is expected to increase.
The Polkadot Council is voting on Motion 272, which aims to upgrade the Polkadot runtime to 9291 and the Statemint runtime to 9290.
