Pocket Network will provide more extensive application support for Polkadot's decentralized infrastructure.
Pocket Network (https://www.pokt.network/) is a decentralized Web3 infrastructure protocol. It cooperates with the leading Polkadot community Mission Control and Polka Häus to provide broader application support for the decentralized infrastructure of the Polkadot ecosystem. This partnership is one of the first to be fostered by Pocket Network's TriForce proposal, which aims to leverage community members to achieve more efficient management and support for new blockchains while optimizing node infrastructure.
There are many passionate supporters in the crypto community who understand blockchain projects very well. Pocket Network believes that as Pocket Network provides support for new blockchains, these community members may cause a significant increase in the number of data relays served by network nodes, thereby expanding Pocket's multi-chain applicability. Leveraging the skills and expertise of valuable community members in the Three Forces proposal is key to Pocket Network's goal of supporting 100 blockchains by the end of 2022. Mission Control and Polka Häus are Pocket Network's first external DevOps partners.
Alex Hatoum, co-founder of Mission Control and Polka Häus, said: "We are honored to be the first external participant of Pocket Network and to be able to incorporate POKT into the Polkadot ecosystem." "In the first phase, we introduced POKT to Moonbeam, We are now working with other parachain teams to introduce POKT into more projects in the Polkadot ecosystem. We believe that Polkadot’s interoperability and scalability will make Polkadot an ideal use case for Pocket nodes.”
Pocket Network intends to expand the TriForce project to dozens of blockchain ecosystems in the next few years. Anyone can apply to set up a TriForce "shard" to advance Pocket's business of supporting a blockchain. TriForce shards include DevOps, Marketing, and Business Development members. With the support of Pocket Network, they realized Pocket's support for the new blockchain, and introduced the applications on the blockchain into Pocket to increase the number of relays. Pocket DAO recently passed a proposal that TriForce shard members could get a budget for integrating a new chain and be rewarded based on the number of Pocket Network relays called by the chain.
Valeria Benitez, co-founder and design lead at Pocket Network, added: “Pocket was recently invited to speak at Polkadot Decoded 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I want to add Pocket to other Polkadot parachain projects.”
