On February 24, Interlay won Polkadot’s 10th Parachain Slot Auction. It is expected that the Polkadot Network’s 11th Auction will open at 3:00 am on March 4th, and the 11th Auction is also the second batch of Polkadot Network The last auction.
Currently, the Kusama network has concluded the 26th slot Auction, and the fourth batch of slot winners have all been connected to the Kusama relay chain and launched their mainnet.
Previously, the No. 438 on-chain proposal on Kusama has been passed. In addition to the current 10 arranged Auctions that have yet to be carried out, this proposal also arranges slot auctions after the end of the above two batches of Auctions to the end of 2022. Kusama will also A total of 32 Auctions will be conducted in 6 batches.
And the Polkadot committee passed Motion 158 to arrange the parachain auction for the remaining time. There will be 7 auctions (LPs) per lease period. The first 2 auction winners in a batch will join immediately, and the last 5 will join in the next LP.
After arranging the Polkadot and Kusama networks, the technical education and support team of the Web3 Foundation and the Parity technology team provided a Thousand Contributors Program, referred to as 1KC.
