Motion 106, which proposes to upgrade Polkadot to runtime 9090, has been voted by the Council and will be added to the external queue as Referendum 33, a referendum by the community with one more day left to vote. https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referendum/33

At 19:00 on September 1st, the Kusama Council voted to pass Motion 346, officially starting the sixth slot auction of Kusama. A total of 16 projects launched a Crowdloan campaign in Kusama to compete for slots in the second round. Find out more Kusama's 6th Slot Auction Is Officially Open! "

At around 16:00 on September 3rd, Kusama started the candle period of the sixth auction, also called the end period. During this period, the auction may end at any time, but this end block will only be known through a random number after the candle period ends. It is expected that the seventh Kusama auction will be opened after 16:00 pm on September 8 through the Kusama council vote!

As of this writing, approximately 533,594 KSM are locked in Kusama’s second round of slot auctions, 1,648,200 KSM are locked in the first round of slots and all current crowdloans, accounting for approximately 14.39% of the total issuance.

Kusama’s No. 129 referendum has passed the community’s referendum. The proposal was proposed by Bifrost to increase the limit threshold of UMP services from 4_000_000_000 to 5_000_000_000. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referendum/129

However, because of the multiple tests of the Acala team, it was found that if this proposal is implemented, when there is more than one XCM message in a block, the second one will be discarded, resulting in a loss of funds. Therefore, the Kusama Council launched Motion 348 to cancel this proposal, so as to keep the UMP size at 100_000_000_000, and the new proposal No. 134 referendum has been passed and implemented.

Kusmaa's No. 130 referendum has passed the community referendum, and the proposal is to upgrade the Statemine runtime to v3. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referendum/130

Kusama's referendum No. 131 has been passed and implemented. This is a simple change that allows parathread IDs that participated in the first round of auctions (but did not get a parachain slot) to participate in the second round of auctions. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referendum/131
