In today's multi-chain Web3 ecosystem, achieving the free flow of assets and data is the key to building a truly open Internet. As a high-performance expansion solution designed to solve inter-chain interoperability, BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) has become an indispensable infrastructure for the TRON ecosystem, providing key support for decentralized networks through a breakthrough cross-chain architecture.
As of 2025, the BTTC ecosystem has attracted more than 14 million addresses to participate, the network has processed more than 290 million transactions, and the total number of smart contracts deployed has exceeded 7.6 million. The average daily transaction volume and gas consumption on the chain continue to rise, fully proving the network's activity, strong growth momentum, and wide application as an underlying support platform. This market-proven solution is continuously releasing the unlimited potential of the TRON ecosystem to connect the entire chain world.
At the same time, as the TRON ecosystem continues to grow, BTTC is committed to creating core value for users and providing a smooth channel for seamless, low-cost interaction with external chain assets. By securely transferring assets to the BTTC network and then sending them to the target chain (supporting TRON/Ethereum/BNB Chain three-way interoperability), users can complete the secure transfer of assets. The core lies in the precise collaboration of two-way verification and smart contracts:
Asset Transfer (Sending Network -> BTTC): Transfer assets from the source network to the BTTC network.
Cross-chain bridging (BTTC -> receiving network): Transfer assets from the BTTC network to the target network.
Final Receipt (on the Receiving Network): The asset is received and used on the Target Network.
BitTorrent Bridge currently supports cross-chain transfers of BTT, TRX, JST, NFT, SUN, USDD, and WIN, and provides three cross-chain asset transfer modes to flexibly respond to different scenario requirements:
Manual receiving: Cross-chain assets are fully received, suitable for users who are familiar with the target chain operation. Note: The target chain receiving address must have sufficient funds to pay the gas fee to complete the final receiving operation.
Automatic Receiving: It can realize the ultimate convenience of “one-click arrival”. The decentralized Relayer agent receives the assets and pays the Gas fee, and the service cost is automatically deducted from the cross-chain assets.
Automatic Receiving + Gas Recharge: You can participate in the on-chain ecosystem immediately after the cross-chain is completed. The Relayer agent receives the assets and pays the Gas fee. At the same time, a small amount of the target chain’s native Gas token is transferred to the receiving address for subsequent operations. The service cost is also deducted from the cross-chain assets.
This article will take the cross-chain transfer from TRON Network to BSC Network as an example to explain in detail the entire process under the three cross-chain modes.
1. Fill in basic information
Link your wallet and select TRON Network and BSC Network as the source network and target network in the “From” and “To” drop-down menus on the operation interface, respectively.
The receiving address will be filled with the currently connected wallet address by default. If you need to specify a receiving address, click "Use another address" and enter the address. Be sure to check the address carefully, because once the transaction is initiated, it cannot be revoked or modified.
Select the token in the “Sending Amount” column and enter the transfer amount. The system will display the estimated amount received in real time.
2. Manual receiving mode
Start bridging (TRON -> BTTC)
Switch to “Manual Receive” in the receiving mode, click “Bridge”, check the estimated receiving time and required Gas fee on the interactive page, and authorize after confirmation.
Assets arrive at BTTC and cross-chain is executed (BTTC -> BSC)
When the assets arrive at BTTC's payment address, you can see the transaction in the "Notification" in the upper right corner of the page. Click "Process" to view the transaction details. After confirming the transaction information, authorize the wallet to cross-chain under BTTC Network.
The entire interaction will fully display the estimated arrival time and cross-chain fees. Under normal circumstances, this process takes about 30 minutes, but if the network is congested, it may take longer (the entire process is affected by the real-time status of the network).
Asset Receipt
After the transaction is completed, a relevant prompt will be displayed in the "Notification" area in the upper right corner of the page. Click the "Receive" button in the prompt and confirm the signature in the wallet to complete the asset reception.
3. Automatic receiving mode
The automatic receiving mode supports most tokens on BTTC. In this mode, users only need to complete the first two transactions (transferring assets from the sending network to BTTC and transferring assets from BTTC to the receiving network), and the Relayer will automatically execute the third transaction.
Start bridging (TRON -> BTTC)
After filling in the basic information, switch to "Auto Receive" in the receiving mode, and the platform will display the real-time service quotes of different Relayers. You can check the estimated receiving time and required Gas fee on the interactive page, and authorize after confirmation.
Assets arrive at BTTC and cross-chain is executed (BTTC -> BSC)
When the assets arrive at BTTC's payment address, check the transaction details on the "Process" page. After confirming the transaction information, authorize the wallet to cross-chain under BTTC Network. The cross-chain process usually takes about 30 minutes (affected by network congestion).
Asset Receipt
Next, Relayer will automatically complete the receiving operation of the target chain. The user does not need to perform additional Receive operations, and the assets after deducting the service fee will automatically appear at the target chain address.
4. Automatically receive + Gas recharge
Similar to automatic receiving, in this mode, users only need to complete the first two transactions (transferring assets from the sending network to BTTC, and transferring assets from BTTC to the receiving network).
Start bridging (TRON -> BTTC)
After filling in the basic information, switch to "Auto Receive+Gas Top Up" in the receiving mode and select the appropriate Relayer. Check the estimated receiving time and required Gas fee on the interactive page, and authorize the cross-chain after confirming that everything is correct.
Assets arrive at BTTC and cross-chain is executed (BTTC -> BSC)
After the assets arrive, you can view the transaction details on the "Process" page. After confirmation, authorize the wallet to initiate a transaction under BTTC Network to transfer assets from BTTC to BSC. The cross-chain process usually takes about 30 minutes (affected by network congestion).
Asset Receipt
The Relayer will automatically complete the receiving operation of the target chain, and the assets after deducting the service fee will automatically appear at the target chain address. At the same time, the receiving address will also receive a small amount of the target chain's native Gas tokens to facilitate subsequent participation in the chain ecosystem.
5. Transaction record query
All cross-chain transaction records can be viewed on the [Bridge Records] page, which is clear and transparent.
Through BTTC, you can master the core ability to freely transfer assets in the multi-chain era. You can experience it now: log in to the official website (https://app.bt.io/bridge), use BTT/TRX/USDD and other tokens to start your first cross-chain journey, and join the trillion-level liquidity network that unleashes the potential of the TRON ecosystem.
