TRON and co-organizers HTX DAO, BTTC and JustLend DAO have announced the official launch of the seventh season of the TRON Hackathon Competition. The season opening party was successfully held during the Bitcoin 2024 conference. This season's competition will launch a series of exciting activities and innovative tracks. Participants will have the opportunity to contact top cryptocurrency venture capital firms TRON DAO Ventures and HTX Ventures, establish connections with industry leaders, and obtain resource support from top venture capital firms.
Track Details
There are five tracks in this season:
Web3: Shaping the next generation of the Internet and building a bridge to a decentralized future.
Artistry: Combining blockchain technology with games and NFTs to redefine entertainment and open up new areas for creators.
DeFi: Create a new generation of DeFi projects to improve the accessibility of financial services.
Builder: Supports returning projects with major updates on TRON or BTTC.
Integration: Promote the integration of protocols, decentralized applications (DApps), and services to enrich the TRON ecosystem. This track calls on developers to actively participate in the TRON network and make full use of its powerful network capabilities.
Reward Details
The prize pool for the seventh season of the TRON Hackathon Competition is as high as $650,000, including $500,000 in TRX (TRON’s native utility token) rewards and $150,000 in energy rewards. Energy rewards are used to subsidize network fees and provide users with a smoother and more efficient on-chain interactive experience. The prize details for each track are as follows:

1st place: $25,000 USD worth of TRX*

3rd place: $10,000 USD in TRX*
4th place: $8,000 USD in TRX*
5th place: $6,000 USD worth of TRX*

In addition, the $500,000 TRX prize pool also includes a number of additional bonuses and special rewards. This part of the bonus is used to recognize project teams with outstanding achievements and contributions in specific fields, aiming to encourage diverse and innovative solutions.

The seventh season of the TRON Hackathon officially kicked off during the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville
On the evening of July 25, the opening party of the seventh season of the TRON Hackathon was successfully held at The Vū Nashville, located in the landmark film studio, officially kicking off this season's hackathon. The event lasted for three hours, and participants immersed themselves in the passionate cyberpunk world of TRON, enjoyed live music brought by the DJ, free drinks and snacks, and visited TRON's surrounding stores. Thanks to the great help of all the sponsors of this season's competition, this event was a complete success.
