1. Origin
Runestone is made by@ord_iofounder of@LeonidasNFTAn experimental project inspired by $RSIC.
The airdrop of $RSIC was only given to some holders of some Bitcoin blue-chip NFTs, and the team reserved 10% of the shares, which was not particularly fair in distribution. Leonidas didnt like the way $RSIC claimed to be the first rune, and hinted at the unfairness of the $RSIC distribution method, so he made a free airdrop of Runestone to the Ordinals community, and raised $70,000 in the community to pay for the airdrop. .
2. Airdrop rules
Runestone has completed the snapshot at block height 826,600 (the first anniversary of the birth of Ordinals).
There are a total of 110,000 Runestones, with a maximum of one for each address. They will be airdropped in the form of inscriptions. After Casey completes the development of the rune protocol, the Runestone runes will be airdropped 1:1 to the inscription holders (recently Casey is playing Baldurs Gate 3, I hope the runes can be launched as scheduled, hahaha).
Leonidas screening criteria take into account the following factors:
Number of inscriptions held
The file type of the inscription (text/json), different formats of inscriptions may have different assigned weights

3. The origin of ᛤ and Rune
ᛤ is derived from an Anglo-Saxon rune, and its semantics cannot be verified.
