Today, Binance Labs announced that it has invested in 5 selected projects in the Season 5 Incubation Program. According to Binance Labs, more than 900 projects applied for the competition this season, and less than 2% of them were selected. The five projects that received investment this time are: Bracket Labs, a leveraged structured product project on the chain, dappOS, a Web3 operating protocol, Kryptoskatt, a Web3 financial project, Mind Network, a fully encrypted network, and zkPass, a decentralized identity verification solution.

BracketX is an Arbitrum network-based DeFi project launched by Bracket Labs, which helps users build leveraged positions on the chain.

BracketX is an innovative DeFi project. Its products package more complex leveraged products into simple and clear "Bracket (bracket)" assets. Users only need to buy Bracket to participate in leveraged investment.

The project provides users with three products: Epoch, Channel, and Bracket.

1 )Epoch

Take the epoch (the unit of time in the Ethereum blockchain) as an example. At the time of purchase, the user can choose between Stay in (stay) or Break out (breakthrough).

After the time reaches the specified epoch, the price information is obtained and settled through the Chainlink oracle machine. If the price breaks through the pre-determined price range, then the Break out can get the profit, otherwise, the Stay in can get the profit.

This product provides users with the opportunity to go long (or short) volatility and earn income.

2 )Channel

Channel is quite similar to Epoch. For example, if a user purchases a 24-hour Channel product, the asset price must stay within the price range for the full 24 hours.

When the user purchases the Channel, the income has already started to be calculated, and once the price of an order goes out of the specified fluctuation range, the income will stop.

And this product also provides users with leveraged income. For example, for a Channel product with 3 times leverage, if the price stays within the range after maturity, it will get three times the return of the principal.

dappOS is an operating protocol that manages cryptographic infrastructure for users. The project aims to improve the ease of use and accessibility of Web3 applications, thereby lowering the barrier to entry for Web3.

Currently, dappOS has more than 20 cooperative projects and more than 4,000 users. Including GMX, Perpetual, BENQI, etc. have used dappOS. dappOS now supports 10 chains.

dappOS believes that the ease of use of the vast majority of dApps currently does not perform well. Taking liquidity mining as an example, new users need to go through 5 steps to complete an operation: approve token A/B, add liquidity, approve LP token, deposit. When a user accesses a dApp of a chain that does not own assets, a complete operation even takes more than 10 steps.

dappOS solves this problem by building a middle layer between users and crypto dApps. Users can just interact with dappOS, and dappOS will take care of interacting with and automating workflows with the encrypted dApps the user needs to access.

Specifically, dappOS completes this process through the dappOS account and the dappOS network.

In dappOS, users do not use traditional EOA wallets, but account abstraction (AA) wallets. The AA account provides the contract with the ability to pay gas and perform many interactions on its behalf.

After the user interacts, DApps sends the interaction order to the dappOS network through JSON-RPC, and the dappOS network performs a series of interactions on behalf of the user through nodes. Including interactions, bridging assets, payment gas and other processes.

Specifically, dappOS provides developers with two products: dApp SDK and Mini-program Platform (small program platform).

1 )dApp SDK

The dApp SDK is a solution for developers. The SDK only involves the front end, and there is no need to adjust the contract to use this SDK. Using this SDK, dApps deployed on chains other than Ethereum can easily attract users from Ethereum. The processes of bridging assets, purchasing gas tokens, and setting up wallets can all be completed by dappOS.

DApps are deployed on multiple chains at the same time, which can well communicate the ecology between different chains.

2 )Mini-program Platform

At present, the mini program platform has not yet been launched. Official documents show that the development platform can bring a web2-like user experience to dApp users. The specific advantages are as follows:

  • Users do not need to keep the mnemonic phrase themselves, and can use the device or email to restore the account.

  • Provide users with a "unified account" similar to the CEX experience. Users can know the total amount of assets without paying attention to the details of each public chain, and can use the convenient "combined payment" when paying.
