Our life is surrounded by countless choices, and the choices we make again and again really make us feel that we have our own life. Perhaps there are only two choices that will shake this real feeling-we cannot choose whether to come to this world at the beginning of life, nor can we choose whether to leave this world at the end of life.
Death is the end of life. Do we fear death? Perhaps what we fear is the unknown—when and how will we reach that terminal?
Thinking about death is the inspiration for Ghost Boy. In 2015, Ghost Boy had the first version of the design.

A best friend of the Cool Cats, Ghost Boy hasn't been seen much in the past. Evan and Cool Cats creative director @cloncast had a rare framing together during a daily doodle challenge that didn't last.

Last December, Evan Luza announced that he was stepping back from the front line of the Cool Cats team as a consultant. After making Cool Cats one of the most influential NFT projects on Ethereum, he wanted to use his ability to incubate projects again.

In October last year, Evan, who had not announced his departure from the front line of Cool Cats, joined Bitcoin.com's Verse NFT project as an advisor. In December last year, together with former Coinbase developer Uneeb Agha, he founded Alpha Labs, a studio providing Web3 solutions, and launched Alpha Labs' first NFT project, Blockalizer, in January this year.

Then came the Ghost Boy that Evan was thinking about. After years of precipitation, Ghost Boy finally has his own final form, carrying Evan's fragility in the face of death and his cherishment of life, to "eternal life" on Ethereum.

Ghost Boy's team is led by Evan Luza and Uneeb Agha, plus 2 developers, 1 designer and 1 product manager, a total of 6 members.
The project will open Mint at 01:00 on February 18th, Beijing time, with a total supply of 6,666 and an offering price of 0.025 ETH. Half of the sale proceeds will be used for the development of Alpha Labs, and the rest will be used for Ghost Boy's brand building. The project has not announced a roadmap, nor does it plan to open a Discord server.
