Unlike most ERC-20 assets listed on Coinbase, the cooperation between Kava and Coinbase has been pushed forward for a full year, which will be a deeper integration of DeFi and CeFi. Promote the development of Cosmos ecology
Due to the difference between Cosmos ecological assets and ERC-20 assets, Coinbase's deep integration with Cosmos Hub (and the Tendermint team) has been very difficult in the past. As a well-developed leading public chain in the current Cosmos ecosystem, Kava is determined to break this situation and build a bridge between Coinbase and Cosmos ecological projects.
Kava is pioneering a new development process with Coinbase to make it easier for projects on the Cosmos-SDK chain to integrate with Coinbase and list assets. Last year, Kava completed the integration with Coinbase's open source project Rosetta, achieving full compatibility with Kava EVM. Kava will also realize the integration of the Cosmos-SDK module and Coinbase Rosetta, and the code base will successfully pass Coinbase's rigorous infrastructure testing, after which Coinbase full nodes can run the Cosmos-SDK. The cooperation between Kava and Coinbase also includes the integration of the above-mentioned Coinbase full node Rosetta series follow-up wallet, custody and other services. Kava will upload the working Cosmos-SDK Coinbase Rosetta implementation to the Cosmos-SDK Rep later. In addition, with Kava's unique underlying architecture and development advantages, protocols launched on Kava in the future will also be able to integrate with Coinbase more easily.
