Although the account is linked on Next.ID, it allows the activity of the account to remain off-chain. This maintains the user's privacy even after Next.ID confirms the user's identity, ensuring a seamless experience while providing the highest level of security.
In terms of development, Next.ID will also introduce a common standard for identity projects, build a unified platform for future developers to develop protocols, and increase interoperability between multiple projects.
The first iteration of Next.ID can be accessed via the Mask Network browser extension. During the initial launch of Next.ID, all user data stored through the Next.ID protocol will be queried through a publicly available API and stored in Arweave.
