The relay infrastructure middleware protocol Pocket started to support the Fantom blockchain. Fantom is a blockchain platform for DeFi, encrypted dApps and enterprises, which is extremely scalable.
The Pocket community uses its more than 44,000 full nodes around the world to provide unlimited blockchain bandwidth for Web3 applications on a total of 45 blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Fuse, Avalanche, and Concord.
After the Pocket community officially supports Fantom, developers can immediately create Fantom RPC endpoints from Pocket Portal, and node operators can also provide RPC relay services for applications on the Fantom chain and earn $POKT.

The functionality of most centralized blockchains is limited by the amount of access. The protocol layer of the Pocket community has its own load balancing function, providing an additional layer of redundancy, which cannot be replicated by centralized RPC providers.
