Today's Moonbeam Ecological Talk is jointly organized by Web3Go and Moonbeam Chinese Community. the subject isApproaching Web3Go's pledge database。
Before starting, let me briefly introduce Web3Go.
Web3GoIt is an open data analysis platform that focuses on the classification, visualization, sharing and collaborative analysis of data generated by the Polkadot ecosystem.
This event will be divided into 3 parts:
1) The guests answer the pre-collected basic questions
2) The problem of Twitter preheating activity extraction
3) Guests answer free questions/quick questions and answers from the community in real time online
Today's guest is Web3Go founder Hao
Hao:
hi,Hello everyone, I have been lurking in the Moonbeam community for a long time and am an old friend of everyone.
Xing:
1. Please briefly introduce yourself and the Web3Go team. For example, the main problem to be solved by the project, the team background, etc.
Hao:
Hello everyone, let me first introduce Web3Go: Web3Go is currently the only data analysis platform in the Polkadot ecosystem.
Some of the main team members are in China, and some are in Germany.
The original intention of developing Web3Go is that we found that in the Polkadot ecosystem, there is no place where community users can intuitively know what is happening in the Polkadot world.
Just taking advantage of the card slot auction launched in October last year, we started to develop the data panel of Polkadot parachain auction crowdfunding. I believe some friends have already used it.
This data panel can see the donation and auction situation of each parachain participating in the card slot auction in real time.
We got initial affirmation from the community through this small panel, and also received some hackathon rewards.
Later, several subsequent panels were developed in one go, and everyone used them. We are very happy.
Xing:
Cool~ I believe many friends are already familiar with this product~
2. We see that the Chinese community will post screenshots of the Web3Go data panel from time to time. For ordinary users, what are the useful functions of the Web3Go data panel?
Hao:
This question needs to be talked about.
According to different parachains, we provide corresponding data panels, each with its own characteristics.
The purpose is to solve the problem of data visualization on each parachain:
andMoonbeamandMoonriver, we provide two pledge data panels, where we can help users find the collector node with the highest APR.
I believe everyone has already used it, and many friends have also given us their opinions, thank you very much!
In addition, there is a little trick. After connecting to the wallet on the UI interface of staking dahsbaord, you can subscribe to the news of the collector node you are interested in.
If the collector node is about to fall out of the top 64, Web3Go will send an email to remind.
I don’t know if you have used this function, but it is actually very practical, you can try it, the little plus sign in the back.
In addition, we also developed the RMRK projectNFT tracking panel,If you are an NFT enthusiast, you can see all the NFT transactions on RMRK here. Including hotspots, prices and other data, these data can help you make decisions when purchasing NFT. We also developed a Defi panel, which is used on Karura forKarura's DeFi project。
We have developed mortgage lending management, where you can see the positions of all users participating in mortgage lending.
At the same time, we have designed some reminder functions to tell users whether your positions have been liquidated.
Well, what we mentioned above is the panels for each parachain. We are still continuing to develop and will add them one by one. At that time, there will be panels for projects such as Astar, Acala, Biforst, and Clover.
At the system level, we aim at parachain auctions within the Polkadot ecosystem. We developed a dedicated data panel toReal-time recording of parachain auctionsCase. The details include the total number of donations, the number of donations, and the donations of each user for each project.
From the perspective of individual users, we provideProfile function. You can enter your own address, and you can see your assets on the Polkadot parachain and the behavior on the chain. We have added some public addresses, and Polkadot's identity module is integrated here.
Below the input column, you can choose a few points to view. Some are from the project side, some are personal, I recommend a personal address here, he isShawn Tabriziherehere, you can click in and have a look, I won't say much.
Xing:
3. In the past few weeks, community users have found that panel data will be delayed. How to ensure that Web3Go data can keep up with the updates on the chain?
Hao:
Yes, this is indeed the problem, and I just take this opportunity to explain it to you. The delay happened on February 20th and February 21st due to the unlocking of all Take Flight community quotas. At that time, the behavior on the chain was relatively active. At the same time, the transaction volume of the Moonbeam mainnet increased sharply, and each RPC node was under relatively large pressure. At that time, everyone should have felt that it caused a delay in the synchronization of our data and nodes. Later, the team urgently optimized the RPC synchronization node. After optimization, we observed that the entire app runs smoothly. Recently, no problems such as data delay and lag have been found. We will continue to optimize in the future, please rest assured that we will provide you with the best service.
Xing:
4. From the perspective of a third-party analysis, how would you evaluate the current staking participation and competition status of Moonriver and Moonbeam collectors and delegators?
Hao:
Hi, this question has hit the gun point, let me have a good chat. Before February 20, the collectors and delegators were relatively stable, and the total number of pledges of GLMR rose steadily and stabilized to the range of 30 million to 31 million. Wait a minute, let me take a screenshot:
As you can see, before 250 rounds, the total number of pledges was very stable. After the take flight released liquidity on February 20, the number of pledges increased by about 60% within 5 rounds, which is a very rapid increase , How much has it reached? Reached 53 million! Note that it is within 5 rounds. Note that the part I drew in red is a very incremental increase. In the next half month, about 40 rounds have been experienced, during which the number of pledges has steadily increased. As of now, it has reached the first 290 rounds, guess what?
image description
This is to collect real-time data of people now
We see that, except for the first collator, the total number of pledges reached 1.8 million GLMR. The lead is very large, the second, third and fourth places are around 1.2 million, and the remaining 60 collectors have a total pledge of around 1 million. And in fact, the difference is very small, the total number of pledges is very close, if you are not careful, you will be overtaken, or even fall out of the top 64. Well, the above is the situation of the collectors.
Let's look at the client's situation:
This figure is nearly 20 rounds, the total number of all principals. It can be seen that the number of clients is relatively stable, with a total number of around 11,000. Finally, let’s take a look at the rewards. The top ten rewards received by collector nodes are as follows:
We can see that the number one collector has received a total of about 39,000 GLMR rewarded by the system. There are still a lot, so what is the income of the client? Let's first guess how many rewards the client ranked first received in total?
The rewards of several giant whales are very large, far exceeding those of other clients. The number one client actually received a total of 270,000 GLMR rewards! ! The tenth place only received a total of 40,000 GLMR rewards. Friends, how many rewards have you received in total? You can connect to the wallet on the moonbeam staking interface of web3go, and you can check every reward you have received. All the data above are from web3go official website.
Xing:
5. What are the upgrade plans for Web3Go in the future? Does the project itself have any benchmarking products or projects? What are the future development directions for on-chain data analysis?
Hao:
This question is a bit grand, so let me briefly address it. First of all, our general direction is based on Polkadot and facing multiple chains. As you can see, we actually have a very small number of dashboards, and there are actually many projects on moonbeam. Including Defi, NFT, games, etc., we will design and develop some dashboards for community users. It is currently under development, please wait a moment, because our team is relatively small, and we are also financing. We hope to expand the team. In the near future, we will develop data dashboards for several active parachains. At present, we don’t have products that are too benchmarking in the Polkadot ecosystem, because we are the only team that does on-chain data analysis. In the future, I think the product of on-chain data analysis must be a good product itself, so that everyone can use it. So I am lurking in the moonbeam community every day, collecting everyone's needs, and let's make a summary of these first.
Xing:
6. If you want to know the latest information of Web3Go, what channels are there?
Hao:
Official websiteOfficial websiteOfficial Twitter
Official TwitterThere will be some news, and some data analysis. join inOfficial Telegram Group, can directly feedback product requirements and problems.
In addition, everyone can send me a message directly, I am in the group. Comments can be made directly.
Xing:
Our questioning in the first session is over, and now we are entering the second session, where weevent twitterTwo wonderful questions were drawn from the comments.
The first one is a question from Twitter user @Jane38874093:
What is the difference between We3Go and Subquery, which is also used for data indexing in the Polkadot ecosystem?
Hao:
What is the difference between We3Go and Subquery, which is also used for data indexing in the Polkadot ecosystem? That's a good question to ask. The questioner should be very concerned about the development of the Polkadot ecosystem. Here I want to use a picture to explain our relationship with Subquery. You can take a look at this picture first:
I personally divide the blockchain data track into three layers from bottom to top:
The bottom layer is the data index layer, which is mainly used to save the data on the chain.
This layer is mainly for developers, and the index tool on Ethereum that is benchmarked against Polkadot ecology is TheGraph. TheGraph has also started to support multiple chains, including support for Near. The middle layer is the data service layer, which provides a user-friendly interface, allowing users to browse blockchain data, the most typical being a blockchain browser. We have Subscan in our Polkadot ecosystem; correspondingly, Ethereum has Etherscan, and BSC has Bscscan. Products at this level can help users clearly browse all blockchain data, but the data is vast, so much data, what is behind it? Significance, what market sentiment is reflected, and where are the hot spots in the market? These indicators are actually relatively difficult to obtain at this layer. Therefore, the data service layer in the middle mainly provides facts, and the analysis is left to the user to handle. To analyze these data, very professional blockchain and statistical knowledge are required. The top layer is the data analysis layer. I believe everyone is familiar with several products in Ethereum, such as Debank, which is used to manage DeFi assets; Dune-Analytics is for community users to create their own Dashboard. These products not only provide facts, but also provide "insights" - that is, analysis results after processing raw data; these results are very easy for users to understand. At this point, everyone should be more clear. The product form of Web3Go is basically in the data analysis layer, which is oriented to the end user. It is used to provide you with data analysis results and help you understand what happened on the chain. Subquery is mainly for development. By. Subquery and Web3Go are strategic partners, and we will build Polkadot ecological data products together.
Xing:
The second is a question from Twitter user @SherryC09
There are already some relatively mature analysis platforms in the market. How can Web3Go stand out by differentiated processing?
Hao:
This question is very sharp, and it makes me feel like I am facing investors.
Indeed, there are many data analysis products in the market, such as Debank, Nansen, Dune-Analytics, and Defillama I mentioned above, all of which have been recognized by users and the industry.
These data analysis projects are role models for us to strive to catch up. Ecologically speaking, Web3Go is currently rooted in Polkadot. What is more beneficial to us is that Web3Go is currently the only data analysis product in the Polkadot ecosystem. As far as I know, there is no similar product. This gives Web3Go a lot of time and space convenience. From a product point of view, we will learn from the mature products on Ethereum, and translate the dashboard that conforms to everyone's usage habits to Polkadot through micro-innovation, mainly focusing on several fields such as Defi, NFT, and Token Flow. We have released several dashboards, including tracking the transaction status of RMRK NFT and tracking the position of mortgage loans on Karura, which have been used by community users.
In addition, Web3Go will focus on unique events within the Polkadot ecosystem, such as Crowdloan and Staking. These are applicable to every parachain project, and we hope to make these two dashboards solid as the biggest entrance to attract Polkadot users.
I don’t know if you have noticed that we have a section calledProfile。
Enter your Polkadot address here (the address of any parachain, we will automatically convert it), you can see all your activity records in the Polkadot ecosystem, including assets on each parachain, participated crowdloan and Defi, As well as the NFT held, our products will be more diversified in the future, including Polkadot identity, badges, NFT and other data-based gameplay. The ultimate goal is that we provide tools so that everyone can create their own dashboards, and through the sharing and use of dashboards, developers and owners of dashboards can benefit. It is the last step of decentralization, so everyone can look forward to it, there will be a lot of fun things. Whoever owns the data owns the world :)
The following is an online real-time question and answer:
@shaubow
Can it develop and detect Polkadot transaction records of more than 5 million dollars?
Hao:There is one, you can take a look first, it records all the transaction information, there isleaderboard。
@meta id.nft
Hello, when you open web3go with a mobile phone, you need to view it horizontally, and the page is incomplete if you view it vertically. Excuse me, does the team plan to optimize the page for checking information vertically on mobile phones?
Hao:It needs to be optimized, but the team is small and has no money, take your time, let's watch it on the big screen of the PC first, it looks great on the big screen haha.
@Akira
Will Web3Go support public chains other than Polkadot?
Hao:Yes, the Near browser is currently being developed, and EVM has also begun to work.
@7obu
The coins on the Polkadot ecology can be developed and inquired about, how much is the pledged amount released and how much currency is released?
Hao:, ecological developers and users continue to expand Moonbeam. As a parachain on the Polkadot network, Moonbeam will benefit from the shared security of the Polkadot relay chain and the interoperability advantages of linking other Polkadot chains.
About Moonbeam
Moonbeam is an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on the Polkadot network that makes it easy to build native interoperable decentralized applications. The Ethereum compatibility feature allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Moonbeam with minimal changes. Like its sister network Moonriver on Kusama, Moonbeam will benefit fromMore than 80 DApps and protocols that have been launched on the network, ecological developers and users continue to expand Moonbeam. As a parachain on the Polkadot network, Moonbeam will benefit from the shared security of the Polkadot relay chain and the interoperability advantages of linking other Polkadot chains.
