For our new users, Orcanauts is an NFT collectible item we created for Orca's loyal community. And a lovely piece of generative art by Cori Huang, each of the 10,000 creatures is unique and cute, with traits of varying rarity (we'll tell you about each trait before launch rarity).

A first in the NFT world
While we are very proud of Orcanauts as an independent NFT project, our ambitions for this project go far beyond that. We see this as a great opportunity to not only deepen our engagement with users, but also to have a significant impact in the real world.While DeFi can "gamify" finance, it is our responsibility as architects and early users of this new ecosystem to promote and foster financial responsibility. In the next few days, before the project launches, we'll be digging into and disclosing our nonprofit partners and why we chose them in a post. We're very excited about our mission to educate the masses about cryptocurrencies, and we're excited to give you the opportunity to get involved and make history.

Two-Stage Casting ProcessThe casting process will take place in two stages:Phase 1 will start at 16:00 UTC on November 27th

Members of the Orcanautical community will be elite members of our community with access to a private Discord channel where we will hold occasional community events such as private AMAs with Orca core members, including co-founders Grace and Yutaro. With so many loyal Orca users, we hope this community will be a rich source of alpha...for those lucky enough to be a part of it, it is!
And that's not all, each season the Orca team commissions an artist to create a piece of Orcanauts-themed art based on ideas and suggestions from the Orcanautical community. If you've ever wanted to be a patron of DeFi art, this might be your chance!
