Hi, I'm Charles dHaussy, Managing Director Asia Pacific at ConsenSys.

ConsenSys' product line includes ConsenSys Quorum and MetaMask wallets. Presumably many of you here today have used our products.

I am very happy to introduce NFT on ConsenSys to you today. Before I start, I need to introduce ConsenSys first. We are a company that has been actively participating in the ecological construction of Ethereum from a very early stage. Our audience mainly has three types, one is developers, the other is enterprises, and the third is end consumers.

In essence, what ConsenSys is doing is to reduce the difficulty of using the blockchain, making it easier for developers and users to build or experience the blockchain. We are working closely with many institutions, enterprises, projects, including the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Fidelity, Coinbase, Maker and many more.

ConsenSys has quite well-known products in many product areas. If you're a developer, you're probably familiar with Truffle, the best development environment for Solidity smart contracts; Diligence is our security audit subsidiary; network; Quorum is also widely used in private chain applications; Codefi can tokenize securities; and then there is the most familiar MetaMask.

Recently, the monthly active users of MetaMask have nearly tripled, reaching 10 million in August, and the growth momentum is very strong. This is ConsenSys' most popular product and part of our internal NFT strategy.

Earlier this year, ConsenSys closed a $65 million funding round from JPMorgan Chase, Mastercard, UBS, Protocol Labs, Maker Foundation, Fenbushi Capital, The LAO, Alameda Research, CMT Digital, NGC Ventures, Great Bay District Common Home Development Fund, Quotidian Ventures and Liberty City Ventures also participated.

Next, let's talk about some of ConsenSys' thoughts on NFT. I will not re-explain what NFT is. This topic should be introduced by other guests today. I will share more of ConsenSys' experience in cooperation with NFT projects.

The first thing to say is that ConsenSys has been experimenting with NFT for a long time. We have launched an NFT expansion project Palm earlier. The core products of ConsenSys can help high-quality brands enter the NFT field very well. We have also reached cooperation with some well-known media companies or luxury companies, such as the watch brand Hublot, and other cooperation will be announced soon.

Users are now participating in NFTs in various ways, such as artwork, games, or some other metaverse projects. The volume of NFT has grown significantly recently, and we have seen the success of Opensea and some other brands, which is quite exciting and proves the market value of NFT. We believe that ConsenSys can help more users enter the market in this round of NFT tide, allowing them to experience the expansion functions of the blockchain.

In general, through contact with various NFT projects around the world, ConsenSys has understood and sorted out some key experiences, which may be of certain reference significance for teams interested in launching NFT projects.

First of all, we think it is very important to start from the user experience. The project party needs to ensure that the user type matches the product type, and learn from the product experience and production experience of successful projects, so that users can truly experience the carefully designed product and agree that this product is indeed very suitable for them.

Second, market integration and partnership building are also very important. ConsenSys has a wealth of resources in this area and can help projects contact major mainstream NFT service platforms.

Then, in the NFT ecosystem, the underlying choice is also very important. Ethereum is undoubtedly the preferred underlying platform. This is where most NFTs are born and where the largest number of users are. In addition to Ethereum, there are several other bottom layers that are stepping up development, hoping to compete with Ethereum, but for now, Ethereum is still the best choice.

Then, there is the technology stack. ConsenSys can provide you with the most systematic technology stack and will also help you understand these structural components.

Finally, there are goals and timelines. The project party needs to clarify its own direction and specific progress.

Next, let's look at some examples of NFT usage scenarios around the trading market. As shown in the figure above, we can use NFT to design authorization libraries, stimulate competition among communities, differentiate membership benefits, issue rewards or souvenirs, record important events, gamify, etc...

Today, many users understand NFT through various well-known artwork cases, but technological changes can bring more interesting things. In the future, you can see NFTs being used for more other use cases than just art collections.

Currently, we have good technical partnerships with many core projects in the NFT ecosystem, such as Uniswap and Protocol Labs. Our products can also help them. For example, Infura can help them connect to the Internet faster. It goes without saying that MetaMask, everyone loves it.

When we think about designing a program for NFTs, there are eight different solution components involved. As shown in the figure above, from the initial wallet to the final legal service, there are many risk points involved. ConsenSys can provide you with advice in various processes to ensure the safety of the project.

According to different stages, there are roughly three ways of cooperation between ConsenSys and NFT projects. The first is the design phase. We will design meaningful NFTs based on specific user groups, and we will also work with your product manager and legal team to build some upper-level frameworks to model the operation of the project. After that comes the construction phase, where we help the project release the beta version, build the platform, and conduct a security audit of the platform to make sure everything is in order. The third stage is planning expansion. The development of NFT is dynamic, so don’t keep adding new components.

Regarding NFT, we have various solutions. ConsenSys' core products can help you save time and cost significantly, and promote projects to launch on the mainnet, Palm, Polygon or other chains efficiently and gracefully.
