Hello everyone, thank you for the invitation. Today, I listened to the sharing of many experts and friends in the currency circle, and learned a lot of information.
Spores Network received financing in July, but the founders have been preparing for it since 2017. With the explosive action of NFT in the past two years, Spores is also advancing and starting to present. We are primarily an NFT trading platform.
It can be seen from the recent transaction amount that after Beeple's $69 million transaction at Christie's in March, to August, the transaction amount exceeded 2 billion U.S. dollars. Among them, many are NFT works in the format of avatars and pictures. Of course, we are also looking forward to seeing the turnover hit a new high, exceeding 10 billion US dollars.
Our main vision is also about the concept of the metaverse, because the metaverse is very interesting and highly anticipated for us. Recently, many metaverse products have been launched. We believe that the creation of the metaverse is a change in contemporary life. At the same time, online virtual life and offline real experience will become a very important observation point in the future. Because of NFT and blockchain, we can have decentralized ownership and barrier-free asset reorganization.
Among the main missions of our Spores, content is the most important. When it comes to creators and artists, when I started to study NFT, I also felt the same way as many previous guests. It is a prop, and of course it is not just a collection of electronic files, they also need to look at the content. Like traditional art, you're not just buying a canvas and paints, it's up to the artist to see what the artist has created. There are also many cross-chain and DeFi on our platform, and we will also create communities. We now have very active telegram, discord groups, and WeChat groups. We look forward to continuing to communicate with you and learn from each other. I am very happy to participate in today's event.
Another difference between us is that I actually came from a traditional gallery and auction house. I have been working in the traditional art industry for nearly 18 years. I was in an auction house at the beginning. Forbes, then transferred to Sotheby's in Hong Kong, and now returned to Shanghai to open a gallery.
In the picture above, on the left is our gallery space on West Nanjing Road. Last month, I used a part of the gallery space as a permanent digital art exhibition hall. I installed a screen, and there is also a wall that uses projection technology to present digital art works . Everyone knows that digital works of art are not necessarily NFTs, and not all NFTs are works of art. I think the part of curation is still very important. Galleries still have the role of galleries, just like auction houses have the role of auction houses. The auction house is actually a trading platform, but a digital artist can use NFT today to be very independent. Trade and community, but how do they get to be more prominent, or one day be able to go to Christie's for an auction? There are many procedures and steps in this. As a gallery curator, I can help these artists, and at the same time help collectors sort out and discover more artists and collectors, and act as a middleman between traditional art and NFT art collection.
Spores will also build a virtual art gallery online. The buildings on the right of the picture above are all designer buildings. We will create our online virtual exhibition hall according to his aesthetic concept. We believe this is also the first time we have stepped into the Metaverse. step. In the beginning, XR or VR technology may be used to allow audiences to enter our art gallery to watch exhibitions. We are like a real art museum, where you can watch some documentaries, and there will be some lectures. We hope to expand to the Metaverse in the next year, and let our art museum become the start of our Spores Metaverse.
In addition to the NFT platform, Spores also has a lot of cross-chain (functions). It is expected that in the next two months, we will be able to successfully connect to multiple public chains, allowing our DeFi and NFT to completely cross-chain.
The picture above is our plan for the next three years. In September, we expect that the NFT platform will be launched. In the future, you can also pay directly with a credit card and collect NFT. After that, you can generate a lot of decentralized financial transactions with our DeFi. In the next two or three years, I am also looking forward to how many new developments and new projects all platforms will have in this space. I think this possibility is really too great. Metaverse opens a door to another world.
In addition to content, we also have games, including Japanese comics, American comic products, and some e-sports content. I also introduced my previous experience, which can bring a planned strategy to the platform, especially from the selection of artists, or the presentation of exhibitions, including the on-site exhibition hall, which can hold many offline activities, just like the opening of the gallery , at the same time, there are traditional art works and digital art works, and many receptions can be held, and everyone is welcome to participate.
One of our cooperating artists is called American McGee. He is actually a game designer and now has many IP series of his own. I am very happy to work with him. His NFT works will be launched in October. Because he also lives in Shanghai, he will also come to the scene at that time. We may have some activities at the scene, and there may also be some prizes.
E-sports is also issued in the form of NFT, allowing collectors to collect and trade on our platform.
In terms of the team, Duc Luu is one of our founders. He grew up in the United States and is a serial entrepreneur. He has experience in promotion and publicity, and his previous companies have also been successfully listed. Our website is managed by CTO Paven Do. Allen V. Dam, as Chief Content Officer CCO, helps us connect with many Hollywood and movie stars. In addition to previous projects, there will also be movies, TV and NFT works of music.
Finally, we think that the possibility of the future of the metaverse is very huge. We think that all the platforms of the metaverse are still very independent, but I believe that they will be connected in the future, just like the current network. One website can quickly jump to another website, and there should be many more exciting and fun projects in the future. Including some avatar NFT projects mentioned earlier, they are now very hot in the United States. There are relatively few in Asia at present, why are there no avatars for Asia?
