Another month has passed before you know it, and we're excited to bring you this month's roundup of work.
We have started the first phase of the road to mainnet deployment and have been busy with mainnet preparations throughout May. Our developers are testing protocol performance on a case-by-case basis while fine-tuning the parameters of the Injective governance and insurance funds. Our business team entered into more strategic partnerships after the project secured $10 million in financing.

1. Road to Mainnet: Phase 1
After nearly three years of hard work, our team is ready to begin the initial phase of deploying the Injective mainnet.
The first phase of the Injective mainnet began with the release of the native Injective Peggy bridge, a decentralized, efficient two-way cross-chain bridge for transferring ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum to the Injective chain.
In addition to the Peggy bridge, Phase 1 includes initial protocol governance setup so that our community can decide on initial state parameters such as which markets will go live first, validator rewards, transaction fees, and more. This helps ensure that our protocol is governed by the community from the very beginning.

2. Injective Governance
In May, we launched Injective Derivatives Market Governance. Thereafter, users participating in Equinox Staking will be able to propose new derivatives markets for perpetual contracts and delivery contracts.
The governance process is a core component of the decentralized protocol and will play an important role in our upcoming mainnet launch. Additionally, participating in market proposals through governance will enable users to earn additional APY boosts on Equinox staking.

3. Injective Insurance Fund
We released Injectiveinsurance fund, enabling the community to stake and start earning rewards, while releasing an insurance funduser's guidance, to guide users through the concept of insurance funds and how to start staking insurance funds using the Injective Staking Dashboard interface.

4. Incubation of Burnt Finance
We're excited to launch our first-ever Injective incubation project: Burnt Finance.
Burnt Finance is the first fully decentralized auction protocol built on Solana. After working with Injective on the Burnt Banksy NFT earlier this year, the Burnt team began to realize that there was still a lot of work to be done to make NFTs, synthetic assets, and DeFi mainstream. This is the basis of the Burnt Finance concept introduced in the Injective ecosystem. And at the helm of this project is our good friend Burnt Banksy, with whom we are excited to deliver a truly revolutionary auction protocol for synthetic assets and NFTs.

5. Cooperation and integration
We've also launched many exciting new collaborations, while deepening existing ones.
We are exploring with DVision Network the opportunity to launch NFT futures contracts for projects created in the Metaverse. This enables users to take advantage of NFT sale prices and participate in NFT prediction markets. Additionally, we will offer a new way to interact with users through gamified experiences through the Injective Protocol Center in the Dvision network.
We launched the INJ-BNB vault with our partner Ramp DeFi. This allows INJ-BNB asset owners to unlock liquidity from their Farming assets by staking their LP tokens on the RAMP platform, allowing them to continue enjoying up to 129% APY rewards. Our previous cooperation with Ramp included surprise airdrops and the development of cross-chain mortgage derivatives.

6. INJ launched on Crypto.com
INJ has launched Crypto.com, giving it access to the platform's over 10 million users. All Crypto.com users will be able to participate in a variety of trading pairs, and at the same time through the Crypto.com VISA card can use INJ to trade with more than 500,000 merchants worldwide.
