Over the past year, our Akash community has expanded to the US, Europe, China, Korea, and Russia, and we thank our global community members for their enthusiasm and contributions to our ecosystem.
Akashians around the world continue to help us expand the possibilities that can be deployed on the world's first decentralized open source cloud (DeCloud), and generously share their experiences through deployment guides, videos, and documentation.
You can check out our rapidly growing Awesome Akash repo[1] to see what's being deployed on DeCloud.
Recently, an Akash community member, EoM Games, made a tutorial on YouTube on how to run a Sovryn node on Akash [2].

The work on EoM got the core development teams of Akash and Sovryn (a DeFi platform on Bitcoin) excited, and it inspired the two teams to explore ways to work together.
With the common goal of accelerating the future of DeFi, Akash will make our DeCloud platform available to participants and pledge $100,000 in Akash Token (AKT) bounties for the Sovrython Hackathon[3] (powered by Gitcoin).
