In the final stage of the Layer2.Finance system audit, we grandly launched the Layer2.Finance Testnet Carnival, allowing everyone to test our Layer2.Finance system through a series of interesting competitions. We have three contests with a combined prize pool of $32,000. With this, we hope to be able to:
- Let everyone be familiar with the core concept of Layer2.Finance;
- High voltage testing of our Layer 2 rollup system to ensure its reliability and stability;
- Get UI/UX feedback from the community to further improve the experience of using DeFi.

Quick Start Guide
The Layer2.Finance testnet is deployed on Ropsten, so users need to have some Ropsten test ETH first. Users first need to switch Metamask to the Ropsten test network. Then please refer to the picture above to get Ropsten ETH and other test coins (DAI, USDC, CELR) through Faucets.
Deposit to L2 system (Deposit to L2)
After owning the test coins, the user can click the "Deposit to L2" button next to each coin and enter the number, so that the test coins of Ropsten layer 1 can be transferred to the layer 2 rollup system of layer2.finance. When the second-tier system receives the event notification of the user depositing coins, the user can see his deposit information on the "History" page, and can start using his own test coins in the second-tier system.
Operate on L2 systems
Users can deposit their own two-layer system test coins into each strategy (strategy) to obtain income. A policy can only have a single protocol such as Compound or AAVE, or it can be composed of multiple protocols.
When performing policy operations, users only need to sign a layer-2 transaction with metamask, without performing any operations on Ropsten through metamask. When a user submits a signed deposit/withdraw operation, the user request will be put into a block to be processed in L2, and then summarized and packaged and submitted to Ropsten L1 at one time.
"Next aggregated fund reallocation" on the page indicates the estimated time until the next time all user requests are packaged and submitted to L1 for collective strategy operations.
Since L2 transaction costs are very low, layer2.finance does not charge user fees in the initial stage of launch. Users can freely move funds between different strategies to obtain the highest return. At present, we stipulate that users can only have one access operation waiting to be packaged and submitted for a policy, and this restriction will be removed in a future version.
Withdraw back to L1 system
Users can withdraw the balance not in the strategy to L1 at any time. This process requires two steps:
1. Click the "Withdraw to L1" button to trigger the withdrawal operation at L2
2. After the rollup block containing the request is confirmed on L1 and passes the rollup challenge period, the user can click "confirm" on the "History" interface to confirm on L1, thereby completing the withdrawal operation.

From 08:00 on April 6, 2021 to 08:00 on April 19, 2021, Beijing time.
Scoring rules:
We will rank users based on yield score (the sum of yields for all coins).
friendly reminder:
friendly reminder:
- Please pay attention to all currencies and strategies, because the final score is based on the sum of the returns of each currency;
- No need to get too many test coins, because the score is only related to the rate of return;
- Don't be afraid to join late, as early joiners are likely to miss high-yield opportunities.

We have prepared a simple UI/UX feedback form for easy understanding:
Are there any confusing wordings in the UI?
Should onboarding be added to certain processes to let users complete the core process?
Should some other features be added to make Layer2.Finance easier to learn?
Are there some unclear and unintuitive operations?
Before the official release of Layer2.Finance, we very much hope to get everyone's pertinent opinions and suggestions, which will become constructive feedback for us to improve the official version.

Beta Software Caution Statement
Layer2.Finance is one of the first brand new products built using layer-2 rollup expansion technology. While we've done a lot of internal testing, we should also set reasonable expectations for this internal beta testing software.
In the process of testing the network, it may cause problems in use, and the risk of individual bugs leading to the redeployment of smart contracts under special circumstances cannot be ruled out. Hope you can understand.
If some of the above incentive activities cannot be carried out due to extreme failures in the test network, the Celer team reserves the right to suspend, restart or end the activity.
