Trading platform Bakkt ranked first in its $300 million Series B round of financing on March 16, with participation from Intercontinental Exchange, Microsoft’s M12, PayU, Boston Consulting Group, Goldfinch Partners, CMT Digital, and Pantera Capital; followed by Ripple closed a $200 million Series C round on Feb. 1 under the leadership of Tetragon Financial Group; Paxos came in third with a $142 million Series C round on Dec. 17.
