Los Angeles mayor declares curfew in downtown Los Angeles

Odaily News Los Angeles Mayor Bass issued a curfew for the city's downtown on Tuesday after days of intense protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) sparked clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement, as well as widespread vandalism and some looting, especially late at night and in the early morning. The Los Angeles curfew will begin at 8 p.m. local time on Tuesday and last until 6 a.m. local time on Wednesday, applying to a 1-square-mile area in the city center. (Jinshi)
