Odaily News Tether announced a partnership with the TON Foundation to launch a full-chain version of its gold-backed stablecoin XAUt, XAUt0, on the TON blockchain, aiming to expand the accessibility of digital gold through a multi-chain interoperability strategy. XAUt0 is built on LayerZero's full-chain fungible token (OFT) standard and can be freely transferred between different chains. According to Coingecko data, XAUt is currently the world's largest gold stablecoin by market value, with a circulation of more than US$832 million, and is currently only issued on Ethereum. Tether has not yet announced a list of other blockchain platforms that will support XAUt0 in the future. (FinanceFeeds)
