More than 70 US crypto ETFs await SEC rulings this year, ranging from mainstream coins to meme coins

Odaily News Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas said that this year, more than 70 crypto ETFs will be awaiting SEC review, covering a variety of assets such as XRP, LTC, SOL, Dogecoin and crypto derivatives. He said "2025 will be a crazy year". Despite the increased interest of institutions in the crypto market, analysis points out that approval does not mean that it will be widely adopted, especially for ETFs related to non-mainstream currencies. Sygnum Bank estimates that the capital inflow of altcoin ETFs may be hundreds of millions to $1 billion, far lower than the ability of spot Bitcoin ETFs to attract more than $100 billion last year. In addition, ARK Invest included the pledged Solana in its two ETFs on April 21, allowing US investors to access spot SOL through ETFs for the first time. (Cointelegraph)
