Odaily News U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has introduced a bill that would ban the Federal Reserve from issuing central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The Texas Republican senator’s bill can be considered a companion bill to anti-CBDC legislation from Minnesota Republican Representative Tom Emmer. Emmer’s bill was reintroduced on March 6. A companion bill is legislation that is similar or identical in wording to another bill and is introduced in another chamber of Congress. (Zerohedge)
