DeFi protocol Linear Finance announced that it will cease operations
03-27 09:34
Odaily News According to official news, the DeFi protocol Linear Finance announced that it will cease operations, saying that despite the project's commitment to innovation and development over the years, it has failed to achieve sustainable returns. Except for a short period of profitability in early 2019/2020, Linear Finance has been facing increasing financial pressure. The project's funding mainly comes from personal contributions from project owners and token liquidations, but this model is no longer viable. Binance's recent decision to delist LINA tokens has exacerbated the project's financial difficulties, resulting in a 65% drop in market value and a significant reduction in remaining operating funds. Therefore, the project's main stakeholders have jointly decided to end operations. The operations team will contact users with active positions as soon as possible and provide detailed timelines and guidance.
