Odaily News Chronicle announced the completion of a $12 million seed round of financing, led by Strobe (formerly Blocktower Venture Capital), with participation from Brevan Howard, 6th Man Ventures, and others. Chronicle is Ethereum's first oracle, led by Niklas Kunkel, a member of the founding team of MakerDAO (now Sky), and is positioned as the core data infrastructure for DeFi and real-world assets (RWA). Its RWA oracle "Verified Asset" has served projects such as M^0, Centrifuge, Superstate, and Securitize. The founder said that Chronicle will help institutions enter the RWA field and seize the layout boom of financial giants. This round of financing will be used for product development and research, and plans to launch more products in the next 12 to 18 months. (Blockworks)
