Odaily News Pump.fun’s token “graduation rate” has been below 1% for four consecutive weeks. On the platform, “graduation rate” refers to the percentage of tokens that transition from the incubation stage to a fully tradable state on the Solana decentralized exchange (DEX). To reach graduation criteria, tokens must meet specific liquidity and trading requirements.
Dune Analytics data shows that since February 17, the "graduation rate" of the Pump.fun platform has been below 1% for four consecutive weeks for the first time. Previously, the platform's graduation rate has been low, with the best performance in history appearing in November 2023, when 1.67% of tokens successfully entered the public market. At that time, Pump.fun created 323,000 tokens in the previous week, which means that about 5,400 tokens entered the Solana DeFi ecosystem.
However, as the popularity of Meme coins has cooled, the number of tokens created by Pump.fun and Solana has dropped significantly. Dune data shows that as of now, the number of tokens graduated from the platform has dropped to about 1,500 per week, a significant decline from its peak.
