Chainalysis: About half of Trump and Melania holders have never purchased tokens on the Solana chain before

<p>Odaily News Chainalysis data shows that approximately 50% of Trump and/or Melania token holders have never purchased tokens on the Solana blockchain before (excluding Solana and stablecoins). Chainalysis analysts pointed out that almost half of the buyers created their own crypto wallets on the day they purchased the tokens.<br/> Earlier news, on January 17, Trump launched his own meme coin of the same name a few days before he was about to take office as the US President. Two days later, Trump's wife, First Lady Melania Trump, also launched her own coin of the same name. Trump's meme coin quickly rose from about $6.20 at the time of its release to a peak of $75.35 on January 19, an increase of 1108%.
