Odaily News ApeChain, built on behalf of ApeCoin DAO, will now be able to support efficient and low-cost zero-knowledge proof verification. The blockchain's Jenkins testnet has integrated zkVerify, a modular protocol developed by Horizen Labs that is optimized for zero-knowledge proof verification. Developers will be able to use zkVerify's zero-knowledge proof verification technology to optimize transaction processing and reduce proof verification costs by more than 90%. ApeChain was announced in February 2024 by ApeCoin DAO, the decentralized autonomous organization behind ApeCoin (APE), and uses ApeCoin as the ERC-20 governance and utility token in the APE ecosystem.
