Prosecutor: Binance agrees to pay $1.81 billion in criminal fines and $2.51 billion in asset forfeiture orders

Odaily reported that according to Reuters, the prosecutor in charge of this case stated that Binance agreed to a criminal fine of approximately US$1.81 billion imposed by the United States on the trading platform, which will be paid within 15 months. In addition, Binance agreed to forfeit $2.51 billion in assets. CZ has agreed to pay a $50 million fine to the CFTC.
