Odaily News The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said on Thursday that it is launching additional proceedings to determine whether the proposed Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund ETF should be approved or rejected. Plans for similar funds proposed by BlackRock, Bitwise and Invesco have also been delayed. The regulator first postponed a proposed spot Bitcoin fund in late August, while also announcing delays to Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust, VanEck Bitcoin Trust and WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust. Ahead of a possible government shutdown, the SEC earlier this week postponed a decision on the proposed ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF until next year, with a new deadline of January 10th. (The Block)
