Odaily News The newly released court trial calendar shows that Sam Bankman-Fried’s trial is scheduled to begin on October 3, but the actual opening arguments are expected to begin a day later. Assistant U.S. Attorney Danielle Kudla said the Justice Department estimates the case will take four to five weeks. Mark Cohen, a lawyer representing SBF, said the defense case was more streamlined and could take up to a week and a half if the defense chose to present its case. The judge noted that the trial schedule may be extended as a result, but regardless, the consensus seems to be that the trial will end before Thanksgiving in late November. (CoinDesk)
