dYdX Foundation CEO: Centralized exchanges will become the gateway to DeFi.

Odaily News: Charles d'Haussy, CEO of dYdX Foundation, stated during the EthCC conference held in Paris, France, that he does not consider centralized exchanges as competitors to dYdX. He predicts that centralized exchanges will become the gateway to DeFi.
The dYdX protocol recently launched its latest version, v4, on the public testnet. Charles mentioned that one can imagine a world where a centralized entity with KYC and customer risk profiles provides spot trading, and perhaps they could offer a better user experience than DeFi with simpler integrations, connecting to DeFi from centralized exchanges.
