7月22日，Odaily星球日报举办「星际崛起—IPFS技术与分布式存储生态云峰会」。在“经济模型与周期解读”圆桌上，熊猫矿机COO杨笑表示，Filecoin生态应用很可能率先在四个方面体现出来，第一块是关于信息安全和隐私类数据的存储。比如说家用摄像头的数据，医疗数据，对隐私性的要求偏高一些，中心化的存储不一定是最优的方案。 第二块是信息的永久性的存储，比如说天文和科研相关的数据。第三块是跟一些有分布式场景的数据类型，比如像联盟链、物联网数据，天然就是一个分布式的存储方式。最后一块是内容确权。
